Hide the whole filter item if empty.

How it works

  • We have added a filter item called “Empty Attribute”.
  • The only product that has this is the sunglasses which as the “Empty 1” attribute.
  • When you click on a filter item and one has no values (all empty) – it will hide the whole filter item

Replicate

  1. Click on “music” in the categories filter item
  2. You will see that the “Empty Attribute” filter item is hidden.

Settings

Filter Posts Settings

  • Content > Main Options > Filter update method: On change
  • Content > Main Options > Update filter count and empty options for clicked item: No (optional)

Filter Item Settings (for each filter item you want it to effect)

  • Hide filter when it has no options: Yes

Optional (to show count)

  • Content > Checkbox/Radio > Display filter count: Yes
